The Benefice is very fortunate to have two Church of England schools located here in Buntingford:
Layston First C of E School for children aged 5 to 9 years
Edwinstree Middle C of E School for children aged 9 to 13 years
The United Benefice & Our Schools
We have built a very strong relationship between the church and the schools providing opportunities for children to explore their faith.
It is always a great pleasure for the benefice to welcome the children into the churches throughout the academic year. This might be for a special celebration, or a service to worship God.
Our ministry team are also regular visitors to the schools, either working alongside the school to present collective worship, or supporting the teaching of faith.
